Regina Marie Williams

Regina Marie Williams was born and raised in Southern California but Minnesota is home.  She has been part of the twin-cities arts community for more than three decades.  Ms. Williams is a long-time company member of Penumbra Theatre, a core member of Ten Thousand Things and founding member of New Dawn Theatre Company. She has twice been the recipient of the McKnight Theatre Artist Fellowship at the Playwrights’ Center and received an Ivey Award for her “fiercely powerful” portrayal of Mama Nadi in Mixed Blood Theatre’s production of Ruined. She has recorded three solo CDs, has a fierce passion for photography, and lives with her husband in Minneapolis.
